🔐 Accessing eVitals

eVitals is a secure, role-based system used by Pennsylvania medical facilities to register and manage death cases. Access is granted through the Commonwealth’s Identity Management system and requires a Keystone ID and a Security PIN.

🧭 Login Steps

1. Navigate to the eVitals login URL provided by DOH.
2. Click Business Partner Login (for non-Commonwealth users).
3. Enter your Keystone ID and password.
4. Enter your Security PIN for two-factor authentication.
5. If associated with multiple facilities, select the correct one from the dropdown.

Note: If you forget your PIN, use the “Forgot PIN?” link to reset it.

🏥 Facility Selection

If you're linked to more than one facility, eVitals will prompt you to choose which unit you’re working from. This ensures that all case data is correctly attributed to the right location.

• Use the Go to Unit button after selecting your facility.
• Your dashboard will update to reflect the selected facility’s queues and permissions.

⚠️ Security & Compliance

• eVitals is a monitored government system. Unauthorized access is prohibited under Public Law 99-474.
• Always log out at the end of your session to prevent access issues.
• Use updated browsers (Chrome or Edge) for best performance.

• For login issues, visit the eVitals Sign-Up Page.
• Use the document library to reset passwords, change security questions, or request access to a new facility.
• Coordinate with your IT department for browser plug-in installation (Dynamsoft).
